  • Group Head: At least 12 years of relevant experience in relationship management in wealth management, investment advisory or portfolio management, including at least five years leading Relationship Managers. A postgraduate management qualification, MBA, CFP or CFA is preferred.
  • Head Investment: At least 10 years in direct investment-related roles, including five years in a senior leadership role. Graduation and one of the specified NISM certifications are required; postgraduate management qualifications, CFP/CFA and other listed certifications are preferred.
  • Territory Head: At least eight years of relevant post-qualification Relationship Manager experience. Graduation is mandatory; postgraduate management qualifications and listed financial-market certifications are preferred.
  • Investment Product Manager: At least five years of relevant wealth-management, investment-advisory or portfolio-management experience, including three years as an Investment Counsellor in Wealth Management. Graduation and a specified NISM certification are required.
  • Senior Relationship Manager: At least three years of relevant post-qualification Relationship Manager experience. Graduation and the specified NISM and/or IRDA certification requirement apply.

The detailed advertisement specifies the accepted NISM certifications, IRDA IC38 and preferred professional qualifications separately for each post. Applicants should check the exact requirement for the position they select before applying. Experience in an unrelated role should not be assumed to meet the criteria.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The age limits are post-specific and are calculated as on 1 November 2026. The upper-age relaxation schedule includes five years for SC/ST candidates and three years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. PwBD relaxation is 10 years for General/EWS, 13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST candidates. Relaxation is applicable only where the advertisement’s reservation roster provides for it. Other eligible categories should refer to the original notification.

Application Fee

  • ₹850 (including GST), plus payment gateway charges, for UR, EWS and OBC candidates.
  • ₹175 in intimation charges only (including GST), plus payment gateway charges, for SC, ST, PwD, ESM/DESM and women candidates.

The fee is non-refundable. Candidates should check the category and exemption conditions in the advertisement before making payment.

Remuneration, Posting and Contract Period

The notification does not prescribe one fixed salary scale for these contractual positions. Remuneration will be decided with reference to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, overall suitability, last drawn salary and market benchmarks for the role. Selected candidates may be posted at any Bank of Baroda office or branch in India, so applicants must be willing to serve anywhere in the country.

The initial contractual engagement is for five years from the date of joining. The bank may renew or extend it for a further period of up to five years, subject to satisfactory performance and its discretion. The engagement will end at the expiry of the contract or on reaching the maximum age of 60 years, whichever is earlier, unless extended under the stated terms.

Selection Process

The bank may use application scrutiny, an online test, psychometric assessment or another suitable test, and a personal interview as part of the selection process. The exact stages may vary according to the position and the bank’s decision. Meeting the minimum eligibility conditions does not guarantee an interview call. The advertisement sets minimum personal-interview qualifying marks of 60% for General/EWS candidates and 55% for candidates in other reserved categories, subject to the bank’s stated discretion.
