The advertisement provides horizontal reservation for three posts for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, subject to the conditions stated in the notification. The category-wise women reservation is included in the original advertisement.
Eligibility and experience
A Law degree from a recognised university or institution.
At least seven years of qualifying legal experience, including continuous practice as an advocate or the permitted combination of advocacy and judicial service described in the advertisement.
Applicants must meet the prescribed Odia language requirement, including an examination equivalent to Middle English School standard.
The notification sets the basic age range at 35 to 45 years as on the date of application. It also provides a one-year upper-age relaxation for all candidates for recruitment year 2026, with additional category-based relaxations and conditions. Candidates should calculate eligibility strictly under the full notification.
Pay scale and application fee
Pay scale: ₹1,44,840–₹1,94,660, plus admissible Dearness Allowance and other allowances.
Application fee: ₹750, non-refundable and non-adjustable, payable online through the modes specified by the Court. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities candidates are exempt from the fee, subject to the notification.

Selection process
The advertisement provides for a written examination followed by an interview. The written examination has three papers, including a qualifying General English paper. The interview carries 30 marks.
